Frequently Asked Questions

What is the process of getting eyelash extensions?

First-time clients will complete intake forms upon arrival to ensure that there are no allergies to the medical-grade glue used to apply the lashes, and that there are no medical concerns present that will cause a faster than average lash shed. If you are concerned about allergies to cyanoacrylates, a 24-hour patch test will be performed. After the consultation, we will determine the best lash length and design for your eyes while maintaining the integrity of your natural lashes. You can expect to be lying down for 2-3 hours depending on the level of fullness to be achieved. We normally advise clients not to drink coffee before their appointment to ensure a relaxed and calm experience!

How long does eyelash extensions last?

Amazing lashes starts in the lash room, and continues with proper at-home. Eyelash extensions can last indefinitely with regular fills as your natural lashes go through its growth and shed cycle. After your first appointment, you will be given an aftercare guide that is simple to follow to keep your lashes looking great between fills.

How safe are eyelash extensions?

Eyelash extensions are completely safe when applied by a certified lash professional. Xtreme Lash products, application techniques, and medical grade adhesives are exclusively developed using the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance by a team of scientists, physicians, and expert lash stylists. A Certified Lash Stylist is a licensed health and beauty professional who has successfully completed rigorous, hands-on training. During this pain-free procedure, you will lie comfortably with your eyes closed throughout the lash application, and you may even drift off into a quick beauty nap. We’ve all seen those horrible pictures of lash extensions gone wrong, and they were more than likely applied by an untrained technician. Eyelash extensions should never damage your natural lashes, and they should never be glued to your eyelids.

How long does my hair have to be for waxing?

Ideally, your hair needs to be at least a 1/4 of an inch long, or about the length of a long grain of rice in order for the hair to be removed using hard or soft wax.

Is waxing a painless procedure?

We try to make the process as painless as possible! Waxing is not without a certain degree of pain, but pain is beauty! We recommend taking a pain reliever one hour before your appointment to help take some of the edge off. We also offer a topical anesthetic for those who cannot tolerate it. With regular appointments, the pain lessens and so does the hair growth!
